Is the server still open?
As of right now, yes it is! I don't see us closing it for the forseeable future unless we get a large influx of new members.

Is it okay if I lurk?
Of course! We have lots of lurkers!

I'm not caught up/have only listened to Second Citadel/Juno steel; is it okay if I join?
Yes! This server is for fans of TPP, new fans, old hat fans, people who have only listened to one of the storylines, or all of them!

Why is the age limit 21+?
When the age limit was discussed, the original members of the server agreed on the minimum age being 21-years old, due to the explicit nature of discussions in NSFW channels and the comfort levels of our older members who are either 30-years old or older and do not feel comfortable interacting with anyone younger than 21.

Is there a chance the age limit will change?
Due to increased interest in the server, particularly by fans who are legally adults at 18 and 19, Admin Gerry had reopened the discussion about the age limit to the server. The response was almost unanimous in expressing general discomfort with younger people joining, particularly due to the sorts of conversations that are had in the NSFW channels.

In order to bridge the gap in those comfort levels, the Admin and Mod team would be required to have a very active presence in the channels. Given that this is a fan-made server and none of us are being paid to be there, this is not a responsibility we're prepared to take on.

Were we to further lower the age limit, the lowest minimum age would be 19.

Why wouldn't you lower it to 18?
Lowering the age limit to 18 would then require some sort of birthdate confirmation, which is an entire hassle the Admin and Mod team do not wish to take on.

This is a strictly anti-TERF/SWERF/Radfem/Exclusionist zone.Courtesy and respect to your fellow community members is expected of everyone.Harassment or harmful behaviour directed at any member of this community (including Admins and Mods) in other spaces (be it DMs, Tumblr, Twitter, etc) will be grounds for Admin and Mod action.No racism, sexism, homo-/bi-/trans-/queerphobia, ableism, or any other such harmful –isms.Politics and politically-charged issues are welcome in this server. Since people are here for fun and escape however, we have provided channels to discuss issues at length. If you would likeIf you would like another channel dedicated to a new issue, please put a request in the #server-change-requests channel, mentioning the Admin team.
Though this is meant to be an adult oriented server, please keep the chat relatively clean. Be mindful of peoples' boundaries and please put anything Explicit behind "spoiler" filters. Please ask any of our Admins or Mods for clarification if you are unclear on how to do so!While swearing is certainly okay, please attempt to keep it to a minimum while engaging in meta and conversations, and avoid using genitalia-related swears as much as possible. The Revised Swearing Policy is below.Avoid using sexual or derogatory language in general; insulting, demeaning, or harassing behaviour will not be tolerated – this includes user nicknames.Again, whilst we are an adult oriented server and would like to encourage a sex positive environment, comments that are sexualised or objectifying can make people uncomfortable.
We will not abide any generalized toxic behaviour such as gate-keeping. Fandom should have no additional barriers to participation.This excludes:

Swearing Guidelines
1. As this is an adult-oriented server, swearing is permitted without censoring, so long as it is not excessive.
2. Please use swears sparingly during meta discussions.
3. Avoid using or strictly censor gendered swears, such as b||itc||h, c||un||t, etc.
4. If anyone expresses discomfort with your swearing, please respect their wishes and adjust your chat behaviour.
5. Hard slurs such as the n-word, fxxgot (and variations), trxnny, kxke, rxtard (and variations) are absolutely prohibited, and will result in you being muted pending Admin and Mod action.
5.5. As reassurance for current members as well as to be clear for future members: "queer" is 100% not a slur in this server. There is not, nor shall there ever be a requirement for "queer" to be censored or avoided by community members.

The Less Serious But Still Important Stuff
Ensure you check out any pinned messages in any channel.NSFW links/material, including fanworks with NSFW themes are permitted, so long as there is ample warning that it is NSFW, as well as being accompanied by all appropriate content warnings.Please keep advertising to our #self-promotion channel. This includes personal activities, such as game or art streams, personal Patreons and creative projects.Our Admin and Mod team has final authority to enforce the Community Guidelines, and we ask for compliance with our requests without further dispute.We will be as fair as possible in all decisions we make.

The Most Important Rule
While this server was ultimately made for like-minded older adults in fandom, this is not a place to make fun of or behave in bullying behaviour at specific people or posts.

Expressing disagreement and frustration with certain ideas and opinions is perfectly okay, but any links to specific posts, mentions of specific names or even a vague "you-know-who" are not permitted at all and will result in immediate Admin and Mod action.

Server Etiquette Guidelines

Patron Early-Access Server Etiquette
All discussions (including meta, theories, fanworks, live-reacting) regarding the episode should remain in the Patron-only channels until the public release on Tuesday. Discussions can move to the general spoiler channels on Tuesday.Any and all “vaguing” about the new episodes in the general or spoiler chats is strictly prohibited and will result in action from the Admin and Mod team.
“Vaguing” includes:
Stating your opinion on whether you liked the episode or not.Making teasing remarks and using gifs to hint at events that happened in the episode.Any “out of context” memes/quotes/reactions.
Important note: The Patron-only channels are best assumed to be a place of spoilers, and the usage of spoiler censoring is not required.

New Episode Etiquette
Absolutely no new episode spoilers in the regular channels without censoring for 48 hours after the public release of the episode.If posting about the new episode in any of the regular channels within the first 48 hours of release, all discussion is required to be behind spoiler censors.If posting within the #spoiler-(sfw/nsfw) channels, no spoiler censors are necessary.
Important Note: The spoiler channels are just that, for spoilers, so the usage of spoiler censoring is not required.
